Refund Policy

At zWorkers.com, we are committed to ensuring a positive and fair experience for both freelancers and clients. Our refund policy is designed to address situations where services or projects do not meet expectations or agreed-upon terms. Please read our refund guidelines carefully.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Non-Delivery of Work: If a freelancer fails to deliver the agreed-upon work by the specified deadline and has not communicated a valid reason, the client is entitled to request a full refund.

  • Incomplete or Substandard Work: If the completed work does not meet the agreed-upon specifications, scope, or quality standards, the client can file a refund request. The zWorkers.com team will review the project and determine whether the work was satisfactory.

  • Canceled Projects: If a project is canceled by the client before any work begins, a full refund will be processed. If the project is canceled after partial work has been completed, a partial refund may be granted based on the amount of work already delivered.

  • Dispute Resolution Ruling: If a dispute arises and zWorkers.com rules in favor of the client after a review, a refund will be issued according to the decision.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, clients must follow these steps:

  • Submit a Refund Request: Clients must submit a formal refund request through the zWorkers.com platform within 7 days of the project’s completion or cancellation. The request should include specific reasons for the refund and any supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots, communication records, etc.).

  • Evaluation: Upon receiving the refund request, the zWorkers.com support team will review the case, including communications between the freelancer and client, to determine if the refund is warranted.

  • Resolution Time: The review process typically takes 3–7 business days. Both parties will be notified of the outcome via email or platform notifications.

Partial Refunds

In cases where some portion of the work has been completed, but not to the client's full satisfaction or within the expected timeframe, a partial refund may be issued. The refund amount will be calculated based on the amount of work delivered and the original agreed-upon payment terms.

Situations Not Eligible for Refunds

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Change of Mind: If a client changes their mind after receiving satisfactory work, a refund will not be provided.

  • Failure to Communicate: If a client fails to provide clear instructions or feedback during the project and the freelancer delivers work based on the available information, no refund will be granted for dissatisfaction resulting from miscommunication.

  • Approval of Work: If a client has approved the work, either explicitly or by releasing the payment, they will no longer be eligible for a refund unless there is a breach of contract or the work is proven to be plagiarized or fraudulent.

Freelancer Refunds

Freelancers may also be eligible for refunds in the following situations:

  • Project Cancellation by Client: If a client cancels a project after work has already begun, the freelancer may be entitled to compensation for the completed work. The remaining balance will be refunded to the client.

  • Unjustified Negative Feedback: In cases where freelancers believe that they have completed the work to specification and the client is refusing payment without valid reasons, the freelancer may request a review by the zWorkers.com team. If the team finds the freelancer’s work acceptable, the funds will be released to the freelancer and no refund will be issued to the client.

Refund Payment Method

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method used by the client at the time of purchase. Depending on the payment provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in the client's account.

Dispute and Mediation

If a refund request is disputed by either party (client or freelancer), zWorkers.com offers a mediation service. Our team will review the communications, project details, and any supporting evidence to make a fair decision. The decision made by zWorkers.com is final, and both parties are expected to adhere to it.

Final Decision

All refund decisions made by zWorkers.com are final. We aim to balance the interests of both clients and freelancers, ensuring fair resolutions based on the platform’s terms and conditions.
